Legacy Author Website for Madeleine L’Engle – Tailored for Iconic Writers, Estate-Managed Sites, Children’s/YA Classics, and Inspirational/Faith-Based Authors Needing Timeless, Responsive Platforms
Project Overview: Official Website for Iconic Author Madeleine L’Engle – Original Build (2011) & Major Update for A Wrinkle in Time Film Release.
The Challenge: In 2011, create the new official site for a beloved author of classics like A Wrinkle in Time. Later, refresh it to be fully responsive, modern, and better at showcasing her 60+ books across genres—timed for the 2018 Disney film adaptation.
My Solution: Custom WordPress evolution: Clean, timeless design with responsive layout, enhanced book sections, integrated newsletter/blog for family updates, media embeds, and inspirational elements that reflect her voice.
Results: A long-term partnership that continues to serve readers worldwide.
