Christina contacted me about a nonfiction author website design to correspond to the launch her first nonfiction/self help book. She needed help with her online branding, not only for the website, but also for her social media platforms. Beyond being an author, she also blogs on inspirational topics, creates guided meditations, and will be starting an online community project in the coming year. For this author website project it was important to Christina to use her favorite colors of teal & orange, and also to capture the essence of her painterly book cover while still keeping the site clean & modern. She had lots of great photography to work with, so we used that throughout the site to further connect Christina with her readership. This fully custom WordPress theme is responsive, flexible enough to grow with Christina through her various projects, easy for her to update herself, and captures the warm, authentic, and inviting aesthetic she wanted as her online presence.
Thank you for creating a website that is so reflective of who I am and how I move through the world. I am over-the-moon happy with how it turned out. Not only are your designs thoughtful and beautiful, but you also tend to tap into that little something extra within yourself that makes it all come together and come alive. And, what I have loved the most in working with you is that your style of communication is clear — you tell me what you need, when you’ll need it and at each step I’ve known what’s happening next. I respect that and I’ve needed that kind of direction.
All this to say, I can’t wait to see how my life evolves and I’m thankful for the role you’ve played in it. – Christina Joubert, Author
