Romance author, Maren Mackenzie, got in touch with me to create a website for the launch of her first book. She wanted a site that said “romance” without all the tropes and stereotypes that can sometimes come along with design for romance novelists. We created a website where everything from the color palette, to the font choices, to the author’s photography is fresh and modern. It also seamlessly folds in her Instagram feed front-and-center along with links to her other social profiles.
