I created this website to feature the book, Rawhide Down, for the Henry Holt online marketing department. With such a dramatic story & striking photography, the site design needed to stand up to the powerful content without detracting from it.

Working with the grandchildren of Madeleine L’Engle, I created new WordPress-based website for the beloved author to feature her life and her work in addition to new projects that celebrate some of her most popular books. The new site can also act as a place for fans to connect via the new blog.

Hachette Book Group needed a simple website for a book marketing campaign that would make some of the concepts in the book super approachable and easily digested. I created this site that provides basic information about the book, but also an interactive timeline that allows site visitors to quickly visualize the impacts of gasoline prices rising over time.

Nail Cancer Awareness Website
An organization affiliated with the West Michigan Cancer Center, the Nail Cancer Awareness Group wanted a new website to help raise awareness of this rare and deadly cancer. Their previous site was kindly built for free by a friend, but it wasn’t working for them. They wanted a site they would easily be able to update, with new branding, and an approachable design.

SPOON Adoption Nutrition Website
SPOON Foundation, a nonprofit organization that improves the nutrition of orphaned, fostered, and adopted children worldwide, wanted to create a new website targeted at parents of newly adopted/fostered children. They realized there weren’t many resources to help parents prepare for the unique nutritional needs of their kids, so we build a comprehensive website that is continually updated with the latest research and stories from parents.

Crossroads, a nonprofit organization that works to dismantle institutional racism, needed a branding overhaul and a website. Classic Sash & Door
Classic Sash & Door is a premier Portland, OR window and door retailer and installer. They needed a fresh, updated web presence that showcases their beautiful work, includes a blog to highlight interesting historical projects, and supports a new line of business supplying windows to contractors. While the larger site is in development, I created a landing page that hints at what’s to come, and allows site visitors to easily stay in touch.

Barefoot Motors
Barefoot Motors, an electric ATV company in Oregon, needed someone to recreate their website on a new web server (their previous service went dark), then overhaul the site to bring it up-to-date with technology and their product line. I rebuilt their website, and added their newest vehicle information. Unfortunately, Barefoot Motors closed its doors at the end of 2010.
