I was approached by the nonprofit organization, California Coastkeeper Alliance (CCKA), to overhaul their outdated, unfocused website. They wanted a new site that was not only responsive, but also more elegant, easier to navigate, and better focused on their messaging & resources. Beyond that, they wanted to be able to easily update the site themselves & have a tight integration with their social media profiles to better connect with their audience.
We started from scratch creating a new site architecture with pages that were easy to navigate, and made sense for the target audience. Once we established what the site content & functionality needed to be, I created a fresh, new design that leveraged their beautiful photography. The new site can now easily be updated regularly in-house, and can leverage the work they put into their social media profiles without any extra work.
Hire Kate! All nonprofits need her affordable pricing, expert project management and killer eye for design. She’s endlessly patient, quick to respond, a clear communicator and such a pleasure to work with. Not only was her pricing 1/3 the cost of a big design house, it was transparent — no added fees or unexpected adjustments. Our new site is both beautiful and purposeful. – Lola Dvorak, CCKA
