Seems like author/book web sites need to balance a few things. There are some new online usability tools that could give web designers a fast, low cost way to test how the site does. I work with UserTesting.com ($29 per test), but Website Magazine wrote up a review of a few of the products that can help: http://bit.ly/2RATxW.
